How it all started...
Restored Apostolic Ministries of Altoona (R.A.M.A.) was birthed in July of 2001 when Pastor Les Montgomery returned to his hometown with a burden to spread the love of God in a hurting world. We began holding services in the living room of our family's home with only 10 people in attendance. Senior Pastor Kenneth Wehrle preached, "The Dreamers Have Arrived!" The groundwork was laid and a burden was developed to reach the city of Altoona.
Soon the church grew out of the space available in the house and we began holding services in the Juniata Civic Center. After a brief time there, we were blessed by the generosity of the United Methodist Church to purchase one of their buildings. We have called that little white church on the hill home now since 2004.

Expanding the vision...
R.A.M.A. has continued to grow both in number and in burden. We desire to see God's transforming power working across this city as lives are affected and changed! We are prayerfully seeking more ways to reach families in our community with the lifesaving gospel and hope that is in Jesus Christ.
Where we are headed...
We are growing in areas of community outreach and being led by the Spirit to a Recovery Ministry focusing on emotional and spiritual healing. Our youth group is growing both in number and anointing and are becoming leaders for not only now but the future as well. The door is open in Altoona for great deliverance and salvation, and we are going through that door.
